ANNA
My lifelong passion for design began in the early 90’s with me studying Visual Arts, Textile & Design. During my weekends, if I was not playing competitive tennis, I would be in the Visual Art classroom experimenting with all different materials I can get my hands on.
This passion led me to be nominated for the ARTEXPRESS award, achieve a Diploma in Interior Design and work alongside architectural and interior design firms within the commercial furniture industry for over 15 years.
I have had the opportunity to work with several global clients, Aiden by Best Western Hotel, LEGO, Google, Atlassian, General Electric, Medtronic, Johnson Winter Slattery, HCF, HSBC bank & USB bank who continue to push the boundaries and lead the way in product design and been fortunate to witness the journey and outcomes it has taken on their business.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this process and success, as it has given me freedom to learn, evolve, listen and problem solve – the motto I swear by and that continuously works for me not just in a professional environment, but personally – decide there is a way, and you’ll find that there is.
With this key motto in mind – I have hand selected and partnered with key manufacturers and suppliers who immerse and understand the client and designers brief and objectives, take their design and bring these products to life whilst taking into consideration cost planning and time frames.
When I’m not obsessively rearranging furniture, you will find me with my husband and daughter travelling and embracing the European lifestyle and culture.

Belacqua Studio provides consulting services with an emphasis on researching, sourcing, procuring, delivering and installing loose furniture products for the commercial and hospitality environment.
Founded by Anna Theocharous, Belacqua Studio has embarked on the journey to offer timeless, contemporary and functional furniture solutions to enhance your space/project. With 15 years experience in the commercial furniture industry, her passion for furniture and interiors continues to evolve.
